   Hi Jochen

   I just wanted to say thank you for publishing your code an in such an easy to understand user friendly fashion. I’m a Pi noob and relatively computer illiterate so the easy to understand steps are really great.

   I also wanted to let you know that I’ll be using your Omx patch for good things. I’ll be traveling to India next week and I’m going to install 3 Pi’s in 3 different rural village schools. Along with the Pi’s I’ve downloaded hours of Hindi language educational vidoes and cartoons to supplement the Pi’s. The main reason being most if not all of the kids in these schools will have ever played with a computer, let alone gotten a chance to watch cartoons and videos. (In most cases the poverty is quite extreme).

   My problem was that because none of the people in the villages really speak let alone read English the learning curve for operating the Pi (specificall OMX via command line) made me a little worried. That’s when I was directed to your Patch to run OMX without command lines. It’s a real relief to have a simple way to access OMX.
